Dr. Ru-Band Lu

Internationally recognized expert in Psychiatry, Psychopharmacology, and Biological Psychiatry, Dr. Lu has over fifty years of experience, with over 350,000 outpatient visits conservatively estimated. He adheres to a clinical model that integrates four aspects: clinical practice, scientific research, teaching, and psychotherapy.

He was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Taiwanese Society of Psychiatry, and previously served as its President. Internationally, he served as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Texas Research Institute of Mental Science and a Visiting Research Scientist at the Yale University School of Medicine Department of Genetics, maintaining long-term collaborative projects with international academic institutions. Furthermore, he collaborated with the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIH/NIEHS) to develop drugs with neuroprotective and neuroregenerative properties, making breakthrough research contributions to new treatment paradigms for conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, substance addiction, and various other neuropsychiatric disorders.
